Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of Norwich foodbank, giving you the opportunity to contribute to the community in a warm and friendly environment. Our amazing volunteers perform a variety of volunteering roles including: working in the warehouse, distributing food boxes and assisting clients at our 11 Distribution Centres, driving, and supermarket collections.
At Norwich food bank we are extremely blessed with the number of volunteers but we are always looking for new volunteers. (unfortunately we currently only have opportunities for over 18s)
Currently we are looking for:
- Answering the office phone (Office based/home), Weds (9-1)
- Volunteers with an interest in campaigning to reduce the need for foodbanks
- Volunteers for ad hoc Supermarket collections

Volunteer needed at New Hope Distribution Centre Wednesday 12 -2pm(welcoming clients and sorting food parcels)
- Volunteer needed at St Elizabeth’s Church Distribution Centre Thursday 11am – 12.30pm (Once a month) (welcoming clients and sorting food parcels)
Full induction and training will be given prior to starting all roles.
Please complete the Norwich Foodbank Application Form and we’ll contact you to talk about the roles available as soon as we have received references.
