Mental Health Awareness Evening 2026

13 January 2026

‘This event is coming up and we know poor mental health affects so many within our community. Please do share and attend if you are able.

Norwich City Fans’ Social Club is delighted to announce our most important event of the season, our Mental Health Awareness Evening on Thursday 22nd January in The Gunn Club at Carrow Road — and everyone is welcome.

Doors open at 6:30 pm, and we’ve got an inspiring programme lined up for all in our community.

Connect with local mental health support

The highlight of the evening will be the opportunity to connect with 32 local mental health organisations. They’ll be on hand to share resources, answer questions, and have meaningful conversations about the support they provide.

To explore all the organisations taking part, you can find more information at the bottom of this page, here.

Special guests

We’re also pleased to welcome a fantastic group of speakers who’ll be sharing their experiences and taking questions, including:

  • Jack Stacey, Norwich City defender, talking openly about mental health in professional sport.
  • Liam Gibbs, Norwich City midfielder, offering personal insights into mental wellbeing.
  • Darren Eadie, our host for the evening, NCFC legend and passionate advocate for mental health support.

Plus, there’s a raffle to raise funds for the Community Sports Foundation.

*Please note, this event may not be suitable for children under 16 years of ageGuests are subject to change.

Free admission & free parking

Our event is completely free to attend – just come along on the night. Including free parking in the football ground car park.

What makes this evening worth attending?

This isn’t just an awareness event – it’s a chance to connect, learn, and help break down the stigma that still surrounds mental health. Whether you’re seeking support, curious to learn more, or wish to help someone you care about, this evening is for you.

Let’s start 2026 by supporting each other and connecting with the brilliant mental health organisations doing vital work in our community.
