Would you consider helping the foodbank at Harvest time?
Our foodbank helps individuals and families in crisis through the provision of emergency food supplies, donated by local organisations and the general public. We partner with frontline care professionals, such as health visitors, social workers and other community-based support workers, who can identify and refer people to the foodbank. People will receive a food parcel, are welcomed with a cup of tea and signposted or introduced to agencies that are able to help resolve the underlying cause of the problem.
We provided over 12,000 food parcels in the 12 months ending 30th April 2025.
Our most needed are:
- Tinned vegetables
- Tinned meat
- Tinned Fruit
- Pasta sauce
- Milk (UHT)
- Fruit juice
- Teabags (40s)
- Rice pudding
- Tinned tomatoes
- penguin bars (or similar)
