Day of Action Saturday 9th September

On Saturday 9th September 10am – 1pm we’ll be joining the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Trussell Trust foodbanks across the UK to hold a ‘day of action’. The main reason is to galvanise support for the current campaign called ‘Guarantee Our Essentials’ which is about setting a minimum level of benefits that people receive, so deductions / sanctions etc cannot take someone below this; which currently happens. You are also very welcome just to come along if you’ve either not been to the warehouse recently (or ever!) or never had the chance to stop and chat about all the other things we do!
